WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP ANNUAL AUTUMN BASH FESTIVAL

The Washington Township Annual “Autumn Bash” Festival is dedicated to providing a family oriented festival that promotes community involvement and the celebration of life.
This two day festival event is “jammed packed” with family fun activities to include: a midway, live music, fireworks, haunted trail, bingo, games, karaoke, corn hole tournament, and great food.

During the festival, we offer a variety of educational and safety programs, presented by both local and county departments. By doing so, we can ensure that we continue to provide the residents of Washington Township and the surrounding communities with the services they need to improve their quality of life. Such programs as D.A.R.E., Head Start, Clermont County MRDD, and Washington Township Fire & Rescue Prevention Programs, all provide services at the festival.

Many local charity groups, youth athletic organizations, and churches utilize the festival as their primary source of fundraising to further support the needs of the community. Local artisans and musicians and hired as entertainment.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP ANNUAL YOUTH FISHING DERBY

This fishing event is open to children ages 5 – 15. Children compete in age categories and for grand prizes (Biggest Fish and Most Fish Caught). Door prizes are drawn throughout the event. Lunch is provided, courtesy of Washington Township. This event is free to all Washington Township residents and to Washington Township Fishing Permit holders. If you are a non-resident and wish to participate in this event, you must purchase a $5.00 fishing permit.

Township Rentals

FACILITY RENTALS
The Board of Washington Township Trustees offer a variety of facility rentals to include:

Pt. Isabel Fire Station #2
This facility is located at 2817 Mill Street in Pt. Isabel, Ohio. Amenities include: buffet style kitchen, meeting room/dining area with seating for 75, tables, chairs and restroom facilities. This facility can be rented at a rate of $10.00 per hour, plus a $100.00 cleaning/key deposit fee. Renters will be given back their deposit fees upon return of the key and verification that the facility has not been damaged.

Picnic Shelter Rentals

The Washington Township Park, located at 2238 S.R. 756 has three picnic shelters available for rental. The largest shelter holds up to 100 people and is located at the far side of the lake. The shelter has ten picnic tables, two grills, portable toilet access, and its own parking area. This shelter can be rented at a rate of $10.00 per hour. The smaller shelters can hold approximately 20 people, have two picnic tables, one grill, are conveniently located near the playground area and can be rented at a rate of $5.00 per hour.

WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP TRASH DAYS

The Board of Washington Township Trustees are dedicated to providing a clean and healthy environment. To that extent they have set-aside two weekends a year and provide for dumpster for residents to use to assist with cleaning up their property.

Dumpsters will be located at 2225 S.R. 756. The following hazardous materials cannot be accepted: batteries, paints, oil thinners, and other flammable materials. Also, no wood debris will be allowed. Barrels and five (5) gallon drums must have the end cut out. Freon filled appliances will be accepted. However, these items must be set aside, so please inform the person checking you in that you have a freon filled appliance. Township personnel will be able to direct you to where you should unload these items. We will be accepting tires at a cost of: $2.00 off the rim; $6.00 on the rim or $20.00 per tire for large truck or farm tractor tire. CASH ONLY! Fees are being charged to offset the cost the township will incur to transport the tires to the collecting agency. Proof of residency will be required at the time of drop off.
